As the lead instructor at the Dojo, I work directly with students and also oversee our studio programming.  My career began in geology but a love for karate changed my path. I started teaching in 2006 and joined this Dojo in 2007 (then took over as owner in 2014).  I have a 3rd degree black belt.

Martial arts has been a part of my life since I was 8 years old. I started with Taekwondo and, when I was 12, I joined the Dojo. I was hired on as an instructor at sixteen & have been a part of the family since then, only taking a three year hiatus to perform in the Medieval Times show as a Knight. I returned to the Dojo in 2010 as a chief instructor.

I am a co-owner of the Dojo and manage day-to-day business for our students and Dojo family. My martial arts studies began when I was 3 years old and I have a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Tagai Jitsu. I have more than 2 decades of experience training and more than 10 years experience as a teacher.
